12 Dec Checklist: Better Executive Reporting
Better Executive Reports for Better Board Discussions
How to write board papers that support more effective decision-making
Being a strong board that makes good decisions relies heavily on the quality of information you are getting from your management. Board portals have made it easier to gather and access information and to store board information safely. But they have also increased the temptation to dump more information into board packs, without explaining why it’s relevant, or how the Board should consider it.
Besides thinking through how technology can best be leveraged to provide more effective board reports, it is important to consider what the Board needs to know, and how they need to have it presented.
This checklist lays out the key points which emerged from a recent webinar with our CEO Susan Stenson and Martyn Chapman, Chief Product Officer for OnBoard.
