Jane Hayes

Jane’s work benefits from the diversity of her career. She is a Chartered Accountant whose experience encompasses executive search, consultancy and investment banking.

She has advised with Independent Audit since 2014 and works with a broad range of listed and non-listed clients, regulators and charities, with a particular focus on board composition, risk and assurance.

Having worked in executive search, she knows how to assess board skills and personalities, while her background as an auditor gives her a good appreciation of how the board and control framework fit together.

In addition to a wide range of board effectiveness reviews, Jane has conducted a number of external quality assessments of internal audit.
